Inauguration DAY!!!

What a GREAT Day! To be able to watch the first African American President sworn in was Amazing. I thought I would never see the day that this would actually happen & now it is true; it's beyond words....

Happy New Year 2009!!!!

Well, it is a "NEW" year and what better way to capture the next 12 months....Start a blog of my ramblings :) You'll find that not only am I a QB wife...I'm also a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, team mom, friend, planner, photographer and of course a scrapbooker!

My hubbie & I brought in the new year 2009 by celebrating at our friends 55th Surprise b-day party. What was funny is the "guest of honor" thought that the party was for my hubbies birthday. NOT. Rick's b-day is in March. She was very surprised! & the tears just started flowing. We ate/drank then headed to Coach Chuck's (aka Charles) house (Yes, we went to Baltimore County..for those that know us; we rarely travel to Baltimore or D.C.) to bring in the New Year. Some of the SM players came and we had fun!! Let's just say the Jello shooters were of the hook :)

Here's the some of the Smashmouth gang from last night. BTW it was Detroit's Birthday....Happy Birthday Big Bro!

So, did any of you make any resolutions/goals for 2009? Last year, I chose one word as my goal. It was BALANCE. My goal was to balance family life, friends, work & hobbies. I think that I accomplished this throughout 2008 which is why I am carrying it into 2009!!! Wish me luck & help me out along the way :)

So for all of my scrapbook buddies, get out those cameras and start capturing 2009 memories for you to scrapbook....cause that is what I will be doing.
